A day at Brightling Park Horse Trials is a wonderful family day out in the countryside. It will not cost you a fortune to get in.
You can watch dressage, show jumping and the exciting cross country phase. The horse trials take place over 200 acres of the Brightling Park estate and you are welcome to walk around the entire area. You can visit the trade stands, the beer tent, the Pimms bar and food outlets. You can also admire the magnificent views and see some of the famous Fuller follies.
Bring the whole family. You can park your car in a nice viewing position and enjoy your own picnic. Children are welcome as are dogs, as long as they are kept on a lead.
If you wish to spend the weekend, you can bring a caravan, which must be pre booked. Electrical connection is not available.
Proceedings get underway first thing on each morning. Dressage usually at 8.00 am with show jumping and cross country starting mid morning and continuing to about 6.00 pm. A full timetable of events will be posted nearer the day.
